Hi there. I just finished the Intro to Scuba course and really enjoyed it — the videos and quizzes were great. But I did get a little confused afterward about what course I should take next. Do I need to start over somewhere, or is there a clear path forward? A bit more guidance there would be super helpful.

Hi. Thanks so much for your message and for sharing your experience. I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed the Intro to Scuba course!

I totally understand how navigating the next steps can be a bit unclear at first — that’s something we’ve heard before, and we want to make sure every learner feels confident about where to go next.

To help with this, we created a detailed course flow chart that maps out the full NovoScuba learning path. It clearly shows what course you take after the Intro to Scuba and how everything fits together.

Oh, that sounds really useful. I hadn’t seen that chart yet.

We’ve also updated the Intro to Scuba course itself to include a clearer explanation of the pathway and what you can expect after finishing the course. That way, future students won’t be left wondering what’s next.

That’s great to hear. I think a little guidance like that would have saved me some time wondering if I had missed something. I was worried I might have to start a new course from scratch or miss a step.

We completely get that! It’s important for us to make the learning experience as smooth and clear as possible. Your feedback really helps us improve in these areas.

If you want, I can also recommend some next courses based on your goals—whether you’re aiming to dive recreationally, become a dive pro, or just learn more about marine life.

Thanks, Fern, that would be awesome. I’m mostly interested in getting certified so I can dive safely on vacations. What would you suggest as my next step?

Perfect! For that, I’d recommend moving on to our Open Water Diver course next — it’s the internationally recognised certification that lets you dive with a buddy independently. The course builds on the Intro to Scuba you completed and includes both theory and in-water training. You will also be credited for the parts of the theory that you have already completed.

Once you finish the Open Water Diver course, you’ll be ready to dive at many locations worldwide.

Sounds perfect. I’m excited to get started! Thanks so much for the clear info and for updating the courses based on feedback like mine. It really makes a difference.
