Welcome to the Dive Adventurer Course

Are you ready to take your diving to the next level?

The Dive Adventurer program is your gateway to exploring new underwater experiences and expanding your scuba diving skills. This course is all about trying new things and discovering which areas of diving excite you the most.

This course is a little different — to earn your certification, you’ll complete three Adventure Dives.

For each Adventure Dive you choose, you need to complete all Lessons, the quiz and the Adventure Dive.

For Example, if you opt to take the DPV Adventure Dive, you would need to complete the following:

       

      • Introduction to Dive Propulsion Vehicles

      • DPV Safety and Emergency Management

      • The Basics of DPV Operation

      • DPV Adventure Dive Knowledge Check

      • DPV Adventure Dive

    Once you start the lessons, we’ll track your progress. Just make sure you complete three Adventure Dives.

    At the end of this lesson you will complete the Adventure Dive Planner, so you can track your progress of your Dive Explorer course

    • Choose your adventure: We offer a range of Adventure Dives based on our Dive Specialist courses. This means you can sample specialities like Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, and more!

    • Gain experience: You’ll complete three Adventure Dives of your choice, gaining valuable skills and knowledge under the guidance of our expert instructors.

    • Discover your passion: Find out what truly excites you about diving. Do you love exploring historical wrecks? Are you fascinated by nocturnal marine life? This program helps you pinpoint your diving interests.

    • Become a more well-rounded diver: Each Adventure Dive provides you with new techniques and perspectives, making you a more confident and capable diver overall.

    Building Blocks for Specialisation

    Each Adventure Dive provides a taste of a full Dive Specialist course. If you find a particular speciality captivating, your Adventure Dive counts as the first dive towards that full certification. It’s a fantastic way to try before you commit to a full speciality.

    Enhanced Skills and Confidence

    Through these dives, you’ll gain valuable skills and knowledge in various diving environments and scenarios. This not only makes you a more versatile diver but also boosts your confidence underwater.

    Explore the exciting range of Adventure Dives available to you and learn what each one entails.

    Altitude Adventure Dive
    • Ascend to new heights: Experience the unique challenges and beauty of diving at high altitudes.
    • Master altitude diving techniques: Learn to manage the effects of altitude on your body and equipment.
    • Discover high-altitude marine life: Encounter species that thrive in these unique environments.
    • Set sail for adventure: Explore dive sites accessible only by boat.
    • Master boat diving skills: Learn proper entries and exits, and understand boat procedures.
    • Discover remote underwater worlds: Encounter marine life far from the shore.
    • Achieve perfect buoyancy: Experience the freedom of effortless underwater movement.
    • Master buoyancy control: Learn to hover effortlessly and conserve air.
    • Enjoy the underwater ballet: Move gracefully and efficiently through the water.

    • Conserve energy: Reduce air consumption and fatigue by using a DPV, allowing for longer and more enjoyable dives.

    Before you get in the water, let’s make sure all the paperwork is sorted. It’s just a formality, but it’s important to have everything in order before you descend. Your dive instructor will likely go over these with you, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions you might have.
