Search and Recovery is a practical course for divers who want to develop the skills needed to locate, secure, and recover lost objects in a controlled and organised way. It focuses on planning, teamwork, and problem-solving rather than strength, teaching divers how to work methodically even in low visibility or challenging conditions.
Divers learn how to apply effective search patterns, use lines and reels to maintain structure and orientation, and deploy lift bags safely to raise objects without creating additional hazards. Emphasis is placed on good buoyancy, clear communication, and managing task loading so recovery work remains calm and predictable.
